Learning scope: how to set-up a survey, how to develop a questionnaire, how to draw a sample and how to analyze the data in a statistically appropriate way. You will learn what the pitfalls are and how you can avoid those. The lectures are consistently alternated with assignment and feedback sessions, learning the basic methods of research and statistics that are important for social-scientific research in planning and engineering.
