DescriptionVoltage Quality Support Using EV Chargers without Sensor Re-configuration
The adoption of more DC fast chargers facilitates the transition to transportation electrification. These DC fast chargers are high-power grid-connected converters with the goal to charge vehicle batteries. In this presentation, we will talk about how chargers can also contribute to grid voltage quality stabilization at the point of connection without altering sensor configurations. A 30 kW SiC-based three-phase charger prototype will be demonstrated.
