Description

Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration (CSDILA), University of Melbourne

As part of my involvement with the Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures and Land Administration (CSDILA), I participated in the workshop "Digital Twin for Urban Planning", which focused on the application of digital twin technologies in urban development and spatial planning. CSDILA, established in 2001 at the University of Melbourne, is a leading research centre dedicated to advancing spatial data infrastructures and land administration systems to support sustainable land use and informed decision-making.

The workshop explored innovative approaches to integrating real-time data and virtual modeling for urban planning, with an emphasis on sustainability, infrastructure management, and policy development. It also highlighted CSDILA’s ongoing contributions to research and practice, supported by collaborations with government bodies and international organizations.
