Description
In 2023, the Province of Noord-Brabant presented the Ruimtelijk Voorstel Brabant, a spatial proposal that outlines seven area-specific challenges. Brabant WaterLand focuses on the spatial and programmatic development of these areas. Through the lens of water and soil, this ImpactLab addresses the challenges of urban planning and design by grounding its approach in the systems that shape and sustain our landscapes.By fully integrating water and soil into planning processes, we aim to develop balanced systems that reflect the interests of a broad spectrum of stakeholders, contributing to a more resilient and adaptable landscape for the future. We work together with Provincie Noord-Brabant and other partners to explore multiple future scenarios, taking into account major transitions and global challenges, such as the urban-rural transitions and climate change.
