WTh03-Integrated D-band Antenna Systems: Challenges in Characterising Passive and Active Antennas in the Millimeter Wave Range.

The 5th and 6th generation wireless communication devices require new methods to characterize them, since they operate at much higher frequencies. This presentation will cover the measurement methods in the D-band (110 GHz - 170 GHz) based on our unique in-house designed spherical mm-wave anechoic chamber. We have adapted this facility to optimize both the measurement system and the measurement methods to realize very accurate results.
